"The most adorable outfits! My little girl has worn her "dino dress" since last night - to bed, to school, just loves it (she picked it out). Your shop is amazing, and we're excited to keep supporting it! :)"

Yup, this is our fam.
Our boys are a little older now, tackling exciting new challenges daily. And we've recently added a little girl to the mix! Just like you, we've been through so much - the newborn phase to the "I'm not a little boy" stage of life.
From our first challenging experiences with reflux and colic we felt compelled to help - to eventually do more for people in the same boat.
Our first priority was to source products that wouldn't squish on baby's belly. ("Bossy Beans" is a reference to that colicky belly.)
Our second priority was to make sure we were sourcing responsibly. That's a work in progress that will improve with time. But I'll say that we turn down a lot of fun threads with an eye toward responsibility.
And our third priority was to add a few fun items for kids just beyond their toddler years. (Can't leave anybody out!)
We hope you grow with us and enjoy our selection as much as we do!
MORE ABOUT US
-
Maximum Comfort
No squish. We're talking about bellies - those Bossy Beans! We're curating modern no-squish, no-scratch styles and fabrics for peace of mind, everyday.
Baby safe fabrics. We're sourcing items made of cotton and bamboo whenever possible. We largely curate from producers whose clothes are organic or OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. When treated responsibly, bamboo and cotton also have the benefit of being hypoallergenic. -
Our Values
We live in the pursuit of social responsibility for the betterment of society at large. We always have an eye out for the following: women and BIPOC-owned producers, responsible manufacturing, ethical pay and Earth-friendly fabrics. While very few producers check ALL those boxes, we aim for most of the items we curate to check at least one.

Responsibly Made
It is a work in progress, but we aim to source as much responsibly-made bamboo and cotton clothing with Mother Earth in mind. That responsibility also extends to the people producing these pieces. And we promise to continue improving in this space. We try to be transparent about what's offered, so please don't hesitate to reach out if you have questions: founder@bossybeans.com.
